How to Import Images from PC to iPad Without iTunes


iPad users can transfer videos, pictures and other files to computers using a USB cable. But, if you do not have a compatible USB cable, then you can import files using iTunes. What do you do when you do not have iTunes? Well, there are other workarounds which allow you to import pictures from your Windows PC to iPad. Here’s how you can transfer images to your iPad from your Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista or XP PC.

Transfer Data via Google Photos
One can make use of Google Photos to import images from their computers to their tablets. Here is an outline of the steps you need to apply:
1.      Download Google Photos on the iPad.
2.    Add pictures to the Google Photos from the computer.
3.    Download the pictures from Google Photos to the iOS device.
4.    Here are the step-by-step instructions
5.     Go to the Apple App Store for iOS.
6.    Search for Google Photos.
7.     Download and install it on your iPad.
8.    Power on the Windows computer.
9.    Navigate to photos.google.com.
10.        Log in using the Gmail account.
11.  Press the Upload button.
12.Choose the picture you want to copy from your computer to the iPad.
13.Select the Upload size.
14.Hit the Continue button.
15. Now, select the Add to Album option.
16.Choose the album you wish to store the images in.
17. Or else, make a new album.
18.Now, launch the Google Photos app on the iPad.
19.Press the hamburger option to bring up the menu.
20.      Select Collections from the list of options.
21.Locate the album that includes the images you wish to transfer to the iPad.
22.       Select the folder.
23.       Tap on the menu option.
24.       Click on Select from the list.
25.       Ensure that the pictures you wish to import are checkmarked.
26.       Click on the Share button.
27.       Save the images.
The imported images will now get downloaded to your iPad. To access the pictures, go to the Photos app.
