by Facebook. Instagram’s service was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger.
It is the images and videos sharing social networking service that was launched
in 2010 exclusively for the iOS handheld. In 2012, its Android version was
released. The Instagram app permits users to upload images and short videos to
the platform which can be edited with various filters. It can also manage the
tags and location information. An account’s posts can be publicly shared, and
users can visit other user’s content by tags and locations. Instagram ranks
third on the basis of the quantum of monthly active users.
The famous app has launched some new features like ‘Questions in
Live,’ ‘Question sticker’ for Instagram stories and ‘Countdown’ for Instagram
moments. Instagram has been releasing back-to-back updates for its
photo-sharing app. The new Instagram update has been launched for both Android
and iOS users and now users will obtain a new way to reply to questions in the
form of music in stories.
The response to questions sticker will be available only in the
regions where there is accessibility to Instagram’s music. Now, your fans and
followers will start to see a question sticker on your stories along with a new
music icon. Instagram permits you to pick and share a song or track as an
answer from their Instagram music library by clicking on the new music icon.
The ‘Question Sticker’ can also be utilized in live videos of
Instagram as it allows you to post questions similar to the Stories format.
When your friends are live on Instagram, then he/she will be able to see your
questions along with an option to answer them. Other fans and followers will be
able to look at your question that is answered by your friends. Additionally,
Instagram Live has also support for sharing photos and videos. Instagram has
included another feature in the camera that permits music being played on
Instagram itself. This feature can be used by moving to the music section and
then choosing the new icons placed above the capture option. There is also a
new ‘Countdown Sticker’ for the ‘Instagram Stories’ by which users can add a
countdown sticker to their story via choosing it from the sticker tray. This
new feature can be employed by adding a name your countdown, end time or date,
and customizing the color as per choice before sharing it with your story.
